Joe Root and Jordan Cox then steadied the innings with unbeaten half-centuries. Root scored 62 while Cox made 59, putting together an unbeaten 128-run partnership to guide England to victory.

Pakistan were bowled out for 133 in their first innings, with Saud Shakeel top-scoring with 43. England responded with 453, gaining a 320-run lead.
Pakistan fought back strongly in the second innings, scoring 449 runs. Shan Masood made 95, Babar Azam scored 76 and Aazan Owais contributed 59. Razaullah produced an aggressive 81 off 63 balls, including nine sixes and four fours, while Mohammad Abbas scored 42.
Despite Pakistan's fightback, England comfortably chased down the 130-run target to seal a historic 3-0 series victory.
