Imam ul Haq Faces Possible Ban Over Suspected Injury, Preliminary Report Prepared

A preliminary report has reportedly been prepared against Pakistan national team opening batsman Imam-ul-Haq over allegations of a suspicious injury and disciplinary violations.

Imam ul Haq is facing allegations of fake injuries, dressing-room leaks and breaches of discipline, while the Pakistan Cricket Board has also reopened his previous case. The Test opener could potentially face a ban over the allegations.

The sources said the board had also raised doubts over Imam-ul-Haq’s injury during Pakistan’s tour of New Zealand before the team’s tour of England.

Following an inquiry into his previous injury, a two year ban had reportedly been recommended against the opening batsman.
