The agreement was signed on Thursday by PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi and SACF Chairman Prince Saud bin Mishal Al Saud.
Under the MoU, both cricket boards will work together to develop world-class cricket infrastructure, improve operational standards and launch initiatives aimed at strengthening cricket in Saudi Arabia. The proposed stadium will be built to meet international standards and host global cricket events.
PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi said the board was proud to support the growth of cricket in Saudi Arabia, adding that the partnership would further promote the game and strengthen the longstanding ties between the two countries.
Prince Saud bin Mishal Al Saud described the agreement as a major milestone for cricket in Saudi Arabia, saying the collaboration would extend beyond stadium construction to include broader efforts for the development of the sport.
Naqvi had earlier offered Pakistan s support for cricket development in Saudi Arabia during his visit to the kingdom in December 2024. He had also invited Saudi cricket officials to Pakistan to watch Champions Trophy matches and proposed a player exchange programme to help train emerging Saudi cricketers in Pakistan.
