According to the board, the winning franchise will receive $500,000, while the runners-up will be awarded $300,000. In addition, a separate $200,000 prize has been allocated for the franchise demonstrating the best player development efforts. Players of the title-winning team will collectively earn $500,000 as part of the tournament reward.
In a statement, the PCB noted that this is the first time in the league’s history that franchises will receive separate prize allocations alongside player rewards, marking a shift in the tournament’s financial structure.
The prize model aligns with earlier remarks by PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, who had announced reforms to the reward system in November last year to support the league’s continued growth.
The final will be contested between Peshawar Zalmi and Hyderabad Kingsmen. Zalmi, champions of the 2017 edition, secured their place in the final with a 70-run victory over Islamabad United in the qualifier.
Hyderabad Kingsmen, making their debut this season, staged a strong comeback after finishing fourth in the league stage. They defeated Multan Sultans and Islamabad United in successive eliminators to reach the final.
Both teams previously met during the league phase, where Peshawar Zalmi edged out Kingsmen by four wickets in a last-ball finish, setting the stage for a closely contested final.
