Chasing 211 to win, Pakistan was bowled out for 173 in 46.3 overs. Right-handed batter Farhan, who came in at number five with Pakistan at 28 for three, stitched a 26-run partnership for the fourth wicket with Ahmed Hussain, who scored 12 off 34 balls, including one four.

Following Ahmed’s dismissal, Huzaifa Ahsan and Hamza Zahoor were dismissed in quick succession as Pakistan slipped to 85 for six in 25.4 overs. Captain Farhan was then joined by Abdul Subhan, and the pair added 48 runs for the seventh wicket. The partnership ended in the 38th over when Subhan was run out after scoring 14 runs, including two boundaries.

Farhan went on to complete his half-century off 72 balls. He was eventually dismissed in the 41st over for a fighting 65 off 86 balls, which included three fours and four sixes. Momin Qamar remained unbeaten on 18 off 28 balls, hitting one four and one six.

Earlier, after being put into bat, England were bowled out for 210 in 46.5 overs. Right-arm leg-spinner Ahmed claimed three wickets for 38 runs in his quota of 10 overs and also took a splendid catch off the bowling of Abdul Subhan. Right-arm fast bowler Subhan picked up two wickets, while Ali Raza and Momin also chipped in with two wickets each as England were dismissed in the 47th over.

For England, Caleb Falconer top-scored with 66 off 73 balls, including three fours and two sixes.
