According to a British news agency, the charter states that each member country will serve for a period of three years starting from the date the charter comes into effect.

However, membership can be extended with the approval of the board’s chairman. Countries that provide more than one billion dollars in cash to the board within the first year will not be subject to the three-year membership requirement.

It is noteworthy that the US President has also invited Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to join the board. Pakistan’s Foreign Office confirmed that Pakistan has formally received an invitation to join the Gaza Board of Peace and reiterated that Pakistan will continue to play an active role in global efforts to promote peace and security in the region.

The Gaza Board of Peace includes US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Trump’s Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff, World Bank President Ajay Banga, President Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, and other prominent figures.

Meanwhile, Israel has rejected the formation of the board, stating that it goes against the policies of the Israeli government.

According to foreign media reports, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office announced that Israel was not consulted in any way regarding the formation of the board.

The statement further said that Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar will raise the issue with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
