In his statement released on Truth Social, the US President said that negotiations between the US and Iran are progressing in an  orderly and constructive manner , but has clearly instructed the team not to rush into any deal, because time is on our side.

He said that the US blockade on Iranian ports will remain in place until any final agreement is reached, while a detailed statement in this regard will be issued soon.

In his statement, Donald Trump described the Iran nuclear deal signed during the tenure of former US President Barack Obama as  one of the worst deals  in US history.

He claimed that the Obama administration s deal was a  direct step  towards making Iran a nuclear weapon, while the current negotiations are going in the opposite direction.

The US President said that US sanctions on Iran will remain in place until a deal is fully negotiated, verified and signed.

He said that US-Iran relations are moving in a more "professional and positive" direction, but Iran must understand that it cannot be allowed to obtain nuclear weapons or an atomic bomb under any circumstances.

The US President praised the cooperation of Middle Eastern countries and said that the partnership in the region will be even stronger in the future, especially within the framework of the Abraham Accords.

He also hinted that Iran may also be interested in joining the Abraham Accords in the future.
