Meanwhile, regarding the situation in eastern Yemeni provinces, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a clarification expressing concern over recent military actions carried out by the Southern Transitional Council in Hadramout and Al-Mahra, noting that these actions were undertaken without the approval of the Yemeni Presidential Council or coordination with the coalition leadership.
According to the Saudi Foreign Ministry, these actions led to unnecessary confrontation, harmed the interests of the Yemeni people and the southern issue, and weakened the coalition’s efforts.
Saudi Arabia emphasized that it remains focused on national unity and continues to work to resolve the situation in both provinces peacefully in order to restore stability. The Saudi Foreign Ministry urged all Yemeni forces and groups to exercise cooperation and restraint, avoid actions that undermine peace and stability, and reiterated that all parties must work together to restore peace and social stability.
