Since the Iranian nuclear programme, efforts to restart dialogue with the US have not succeeded since the attack on Iran in June by Israel, and US attacks on Iranian nuclear centres.
According to the accusations made against Tehran by its European allies, the United States and Israel, the nuclear programme of the country is being used as a mask to build the capacity of producing weapons. Iran identifies its nuclear programme as peaceful.
Tehran and Washington have experienced five indirect nuclear negotiations before the 12 days-war, however, after the problem of domestic uranium enrichment, which the US does not want Iran to enrich its uranium, emerged, the two countries experienced setbacks.
Abbas Araqchi, in a conference held in Tehran titled international law under assault, said that the US could not expect to achieve what it could not in war through negotiations.
He added that Iran was always ready to do diplomacy, but not dictation negotiation.
At the same meeting, the deputy foreign minister Saeed Khatibzadeh complained that Washington was negotiating its war objectives as a spectacle.
