An official of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said the chances of another war with the United States are low, but Iran is fully prepared to respond strongly to any attack.
According to the semi-official Tasnim News Agency, IRGC Navy Deputy Political Chief Mohammad Akbarzadeh said the possibility of war is low due to the weakness of the enemy, however Iranian armed forces remain fully alert.
He warned the United States and its allies not to doubt that Iran would turn the coastal region from Chabahar to Mahshahr into a graveyard for attackers.
Referring to Iran’s southern coastal areas, Mohammad Akbarzadeh said Iranian forces possess the full capability to respond to any possible aggression.
He further stated that in the event of any new US attack, the Iranian Navy would use its surprising strategy in response.
