At least four people were killed in attacks in the southern suburbs of Beirut, while 10 people, including six members of the same family, were killed in Israeli strikes in southern Lebanon, according to the Lebanese Health Ministry.

Another attack injured 39 people in the Jinnah area of Beirut, where the explosion occurred near the country s largest public hospital, Rafik Hariri University Hospital.

According to reports, Israel has intensified airstrikes in Lebanon since March 2, when Hezbollah launched rocket attacks on Israel in the context of the ongoing war with Iran. The Israeli army has also begun ground operations in southern Lebanon.

Meanwhile, Hezbollah has claimed that it targeted an Israeli warship 126 kilometers off the Lebanese coast with a cruise missile, but this has not been confirmed by the Israeli army.

The Israeli army says that it is targeting Hezbollah s  infrastructure  in the southern areas of Beirut, but no evidence has been presented in this regard.

On the other hand, Israel threatened to target the important trade route between Lebanon and Syria, the Masna border crossing, after which the location was evacuated and traffic was temporarily suspended.

According to Lebanese officials, more than 1,400 people have been martyred in the ongoing Israeli attacks since March 2, including 126 children, while more than 1.2 million people have been displaced.

In this situation, Lebanese President Joseph Aoun has appealed for talks with Israel, saying that talks are necessary to avoid further destruction.
