Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi reacted strongly on social media platform X, saying Iran is fully prepared to defend its national interests and leadership and will respond firmly to any hostile action.

In his statement, Araghchi referred to “Islamabad Memorandum,” claiming its points were clear and public, and alleging that the U.S. president had taken responsibility for controlling what he described as “his allies in Tel Aviv.”

He further warned that if Israel ignored instructions from its “master,” referring to the United States, Iran would “teach them a lesson.”

The remarks came after Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz issued a highly provocative statement suggesting that Iran’s leadership, including Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, could be within Israel’s operational reach. Katz also claimed that the Israeli military had completed preparations for an operation inside Iran, reportedly under a plan referred to as “Blue and White.”

He added that Israel had already carried out two preemptive strikes on Iran and could launch a third if necessary, stressing that Tehran would not be allowed to obtain nuclear weapons.

Tensions between Iran and Israel have remained high amid repeated warnings, military signaling, and diplomatic confrontation, with both sides continuing to exchange strong statements over security concerns and regional influence.
