Soon after taking office, Noor Ahmad Noor held a meeting with Anand Prakash, Joint Secretary at India’s Ministry of External Affairs. The discussion reflected a calm but purposeful tone, focusing on areas where practical cooperation could move forward.

Both sides exchanged views on political and economic relations, trade opportunities, and visa facilitation, with particular attention given to the everyday concerns of Afghan traders, students, and citizens living in India.
