In a post on his Truth Social platform, Trump said the agreement "will be approved, but is totally subject to Saudi Arabia joining the very respected and successful Abraham Accords."
The Abraham Accords, brokered by the United States during Trump s first term, established diplomatic relations between Israel and several Arab countries in an effort to normalise ties across the region.
Trump s remarks came a day after the United States and Saudi Arabia announced a landmark agreement to establish a civilian nuclear programme in the kingdom.
The deal has drawn criticism from some analysts, who argue it could eventually enable uranium enrichment and trigger a regional nuclear arms race.
The announcement also comes as the United States remains engaged in a conflict with Iran, where concerns over Tehran s nuclear programme continue to complicate stalled diplomatic efforts.
Saudi Arabia has repeatedly maintained that it will not recognise Israel until an independent Palestinian state is established.
So far, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Morocco have signed the Abraham Accords, establishing diplomatic, economic and security ties with Israel.
Sudan has agreed to normalise relations but has yet to formally complete the process, while Kazakhstan, which had already recognised Israel, joined the accords in November last year.
