The spokesperson said that Pakistan has officially received the invitation to become part of the Gaza Peace Board. He added that Pakistan will continue to play a proactive and effective role in global efforts aimed at ensuring peace and security in Gaza and will remain in close contact with the international community to achieve lasting peace.
Tahir Hussain Andarabi stated that a permanent solution to the Palestine issue must be in accordance with United Nations resolutions. He emphasized that Pakistan will continue to support and advocate diplomatic efforts for sustainable peace in the Middle East.
It is worth noting that the White House has announced the names of members of the Gaza Peace Board under President Trump’s peace plan. The board will be responsible for coordinating security arrangements, humanitarian assistance, and reconstruction efforts in Gaza, while also facilitating reforms within the Palestinian Authority and governance structures.
Meanwhile, Israel has rejected the formation of the Gaza Peace Board, stating that the initiative is contrary to the policies of the Israeli government.

According to foreign media reports, a statement issued by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office said that the Israeli government was not consulted regarding the formation of the board.
The statement further said that Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar will raise the issue of the Gaza Peace Board with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
