The delegation held a meeting with Arft Jasper Rust, Officer of the International Division at IHK Wuppertal, who handles matters related to foreign trade, general trade and services.
The discussions focused on exploring new avenues for Pakistan-Germany trade, strengthening business-to-business linkages, promoting Pakistani exports and identifying opportunities for investment and economic cooperation.
LCCI President Faheem Ur Rehman Saigol stressed the importance of strengthening institutional and business-level cooperation between Pakistan and Germany.
He said Germany, one of Europe's major industrial and economic centres, offers significant opportunities for Pakistani businesses in exports, industrial cooperation, technology, investment and joint ventures.
Saigol said closer interaction between chambers of commerce and business communities in the two countries could help identify potential areas of cooperation and create sustainable commercial partnerships.
He added that Pakistan has a diverse range of products and services with potential in European markets and stressed the need to facilitate market access, strengthen business contacts and promote Pakistani products among international buyers.
During the meeting, Arft Jasper Rust shared his views on foreign trade and business opportunities and discussed the potential for greater interaction between business communities in Pakistan and the Bergisches region of Germany.
The meeting also provided an opportunity for both sides to exchange views on the business environment, existing trade relations and possible areas of mutual cooperation.
Members of the LCCI delegation highlighted the potential of their respective sectors and expressed interest in establishing direct business contacts with German companies.
They also explored opportunities for trade, investment, technology cooperation and joint ventures.
The delegation said such visits provide Pakistani businesses with an effective platform to understand international markets, establish direct contacts with foreign counterparts and develop long-term commercial relationships.
The LCCI Europe Trade Mission aims to expand Pakistan's international trade and investment linkages and create new opportunities for the country's business community through direct engagement with chambers, institutions and companies across Europe.
