NASA, the European Space Agency and other organizations shared images and videos captured from orbit, showing the eclipse’s shadow moving across different regions of Earth.

NASA astronaut Jessica Olker Mayer, who was aboard the International Space Station, also shared images of the partial solar eclipse on social media.

Meanwhile, CIRA released satellite footage showing the eclipse passing over different parts of the planet. The videos captured the movement of the eclipse’s shadow as seen from orbit.

A 4K camera operated by SEN in space also captured footage showing darkness spreading across different parts of Earth as the eclipse passed overhead.

EUMETSAT also released a video showing the shadow of the total eclipse moving across the Earth’s surface.

The solar eclipse was not visible from Pakistan. However, a partial solar eclipse is expected to be visible from parts of Pakistan in 2027.

The 2027 total solar eclipse is also expected to be a major astronomical event and is being described as one of the longest total solar eclipses of the century.
