The videos, featuring a woman identified as Advocate Alishba Noor alongside several public figures in court settings, had gained widespread attention on social media before being identified as artificially generated.

In a written complaint submitted to the NCCIA in Lahore, Advocate Asif Mahmood requested an investigation into the publication of AI-generated content through allegedly fake TikTok accounts.

According to the complaint, accounts operating under names including Advocate Alishba Noor, Advocate Alishba Madam, Shawal Iman, Queen Mano and Alishba Advocate have been sharing AI-generated videos showing a woman wearing the traditional black coat and uniform of lawyers.

The complainant argued that the content portrays the legal profession in an inappropriate and disrespectful manner, potentially damaging its public image while exposing women lawyers to ridicule and harassment on social media.

Videos posted on certain TikTok, Facebook and Instagram accounts showed the purported female lawyer alongside several well-known personalities.

In one widely circulated video, she appeared at the Lahore court premises with YouTuber Rajab Butt, while another showed her alongside PML-N MPA Sadiq Chadhar.

Following the circulation of the videos, several social media users believed that the woman was representing these personalities as their lawyer. The accounts reportedly attracted hundreds of thousands of followers.

Advocate Mian Asif Mahmood expressed suspicion that the accounts had been created and operated by an unidentified individual or group to gain social media popularity, publicity and financial or other benefits.

Citing various legal provisions, the complaint called for authorities to establish the authenticity of the accounts, identify those operating them and investigate whether photographs or the visual identities of any real individuals had been used to create the AI-generated content.
