During the private news channel Aik News’ programme Jawab Do, Bushra Taskeen had a heated exchange with PTI’s lawyer Naeem Haider Panjotha. She said that allegations were being levelled against her, suggesting that she had produced the story at someone’s behest. According to her, she will take all those involved to court and pursue full legal action.
She further clarified that individuals associated with Imran Khan would also be part of the legal proceedings and that she intends to take the matter entirely into the legal domain.
On the other hand, PTI’s counsel has announced that he will file a case in a British court, claiming that Bushra Taskeen is a supporter of the PML-N and that her alleged X account is filled with posts against the PTI.
Bushra Taskeen has rejected these accusations, asserting that she has no X account and that all allegations levelled against her are baseless.
It is worth noting that the Economist Group’s digital magazine “183” recently published a startling report regarding the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and his wife Bushra Bibi. The report alleged that the PTI founder was driven more by superstition than politics in his pursuit of power, and that he married Bushra Bibi on her spiritual advice to become prime minister.
According to the report, Punjab’s spiritual figure Bushra Bibi brought an element of extremity and occult practices into the former PTI chief’s personal and political life. Household staff reportedly told the magazine that various items were routinely brought from the market for spiritual rituals carried out by Bushra Bibi.
