The new facility enables PSW users to complete biometric verification for subscription, subscription renewal and profile updates without physically visiting a Nadra e-Sahulat Centre.
Previously, users were required to appear in person at a Nadra e-Sahulat Centre for biometric verification. Following the integration with the PakID Mobile App, eligible users can now complete the process remotely, subject to applicable Nadra requirements.
The facility is expected to particularly benefit overseas Pakistanis involved in trade-related activities in the country, as eligible users can complete their PSW biometric verification remotely through the PakID app without travelling to Pakistan for this purpose.
During the interim period, both verification channels will remain available. Users can either complete the process digitally through the PakID Mobile App or continue visiting Nadra e-Sahulat Centres.
PSW CEO Syed Aftab Haider said the integration reflects the organisation’s commitment to responding to the needs of PSW users in Pakistan and overseas.
According to PSW, the integration removes the only physical visit previously required during the subscription process, allowing the entire process to be completed digitally.
The initiative is part of PSW’s broader efforts to expand digital solutions, improve accessibility and simplify procedures for businesses.
