The couple tied the knot on September 4 at Cottesloe Civic Centre Grounds and later shared a series of photographs from their special day on social media.

Green was seen wearing a classic black tuxedo, while Redwood wore a white bridal gown. Friends and family were pictured celebrating with the newlyweds as they left the ceremony surrounded by flower petals. The couple were also seen sharing a dance after the ceremony.

The wedding came more than 18 months after Green and Redwood announced their engagement in February 2025. Green proposed to Redwood during a trip to Yallingup in Western Australia.

The couple had reportedly been together for around five years before getting engaged. Emily Redwood is a dietitian and PhD candidate.

The wedding photographs received messages of congratulations from friends, fans and several cricket personalities on social media.

Green now enters married life with a busy international cricket schedule ahead. He has been selected for Australia’s upcoming international commitments, including the team’s tour of South Africa later this month.

Green has established himself as an important member of Australia’s cricket setup, representing the country in Test and limited overs cricket. His wedding marks a new chapter in his personal life as he prepares for another demanding period with the Australian team.
