US F-16 Fighter Jet Crashes in Germany

A US F-16 fighter jet crashed near a US air base in Germany. According to foreign media reports, a spokesperson for Spangdahlem Air Base in Germany confirmed that a US F-16 fighter jet was involved in an accident. The pilot managed to safely eject from the aircraft.

According to the spokesperson, the pilot was injured and was taken to a hospital for medical treatment.

The spokesperson said an investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the accident.

According to the British news agency, the incident occurred shortly after 12 F-16 fighter jets had departed from the US air base in Germany for the Middle East.
