Abrar is the fifth Pakistan bowler to become the No. 1 T20I bowler, following Umar Gul, Saeed Ajmal, Imad Wasim and Shahid Afridi. Pakistan’s Mohammad Nawaz is ranked eighth among T20I bowlers, while Salman Mirza dropped one place to 19th.
In the T20I batting rankings, Pakistan’s Sahibzada Farhan retained third place. India’s Ishan Kishan and Abhishek Sharma occupy the first and second positions, respectively. England’s Harry Brook climbed five places to a career-best fourth, while Jos Buttler moved up two places to fifth.
No Pakistani batter other than Sahibzada Farhan features in the T20I top 20. In the T20I all-rounder rankings, Pakistan’s Saim Ayub remains second behind Zimbabwe’s Sikandar Raza. England’s Will Jacks moved up three places to third, while Mohammad Nawaz is ranked 11th.
England’s Jamie Overton made a major jump of 47 places to reach a career-best sixth position among T20I bowlers. Liam Dawson climbed 12 places to 11th, while India’s Axar Patel also moved up 12 places to 15th.
In the ODI bowling rankings, Abrar Ahmed is ranked second, behind Rashid Khan, while Pakistan’s Shaheen Shah Afridi remains seventh. In ODI batting, Pakistan’s Babar Azam retained sixth place, while India’s Shubman Gill remains No. 1.
Afghanistan’s Azmatullah Omarzai retained the top spot in the ODI all-rounder rankings, with Zimbabwe’s Sikandar Raza moving up to second. Pakistan’s Salman Ali Agha is ranked 13th.
With the latest rankings, Abrar Ahmed now holds the top spot in T20I bowling and second place in ODI bowling, while Sahibzada Farhan is third in T20I batting and Saim Ayub is second among T20I all rounders.
